GAN CHIN LEE

To paraphrase implies an origin from where an analogous account is produced. Many of these works speak to their origins, whether it be their prior situation in hotel rooms, biennales, convention centres or the prompts that incited them. This exhibition—as paraphrase—celebrates the opportunity for a re-viewing, with the potential turns that emerge out of their display in a new location with fresh companions.
