KERINGAT: Tales of Our Forefathers traces Malaysia's socio-economic journey from the pre-independence era to the 1980s through more than 100 artworks by multiple generations of artists. The exhibition highlights four foundational economic sectors, namely agriculture, fisheries, mining and trade, through the stories of the people whose labour and perseverance helped build livelihoods and laid the foundations of the nation's development.

Divided into four sections, Sowing the Seed of Hope, Casting for Sustenance, Forging Fortunes, and Counting the Returns, the exhibition presents history through visual narratives that illuminate everyday life, occupations and the evolving economic landscape of the country. Each artwork offers insights into the experiences, challenges and resilience of earlier generations whose efforts shaped Malaysia's socio-economic development.

featuring works from the 194Us through to the present day, KERINGAT serves as a tribute to the hands that helped shape Malaysia's identity, prosperity and future. Featured artists include Yong Mun Sen, Chuah Thean Teng, Khalil Ibrahim, Mohd Salehuddin, Eric Peris, Ismail Hashim, Jalaini Abu Hassan, Yee I-Lann, Haris Abadi, Gan Chin Lee, Aimman Hafizal, Izzuddin Basiron, Lee Wei Heng, and many others.
